Faculty Travel to New Zealand for the 2015 Asia Pacific CHRIE Conference
Three faculty members flew across the globe to attend the 2015 Asia Pacific ICHRIE Conference in New Zealand this summer.
James A. Collins Distinguished Professor M.J. Lee, Associate Professor Neha Singh, and Assistant Professor Linchi Kwok presented their scholarly research at the regional conference.
Kwok, who discussed restaurants' green attributes in his presentation, was able to experience "green tourism" first-hand in New Zealand.
"Now I can bring more real-life experiences and examples to the classroom," says Kwok. "Attending such a conference is important because the good work done by faculty members will then be known by other scholars in the field. Only through more exposure of our good work can we be recognized as an exemplary program with top notch researchers and professors."
